Come join us! Introducing fika, the Scandinavian coffee and snack break

Hello, I am Takasaki who is aiming to become the sixth member of Sexy Zone.
It's getting hot, but are you all feeling sick?
Suddenly, our company started last month with the time of the Nordic snack "Fica" which is a cafe and share office member that has an office every Tuesday.

what's a fica?

This week's Fica coffee float.

Fika is a Swedish way of life, meaning taking a break and drinking coffee with colleagues, friends, lovers or family. The word "fika" is used as a verb or noun in Sweden. In Sweden it's considered an important culture to drink coffee. You can also ficake while at work by taking a "coffee break," or simply drink one cup of coffee like a "coffee date." Thus the word has very vague dual meaning, but eating food such as cookies, cakes, or candy together with drinks is always included. This resting habit generally involves cinnamon rolls, biscuits, cookies, open sandwiches and fruits. Wikipedia 'Fika'

This is what I'm talking about as a member.

Mr. Iwama, who is also the owner of Tas Café, made a pan-ear rack for everyone.

The Tas Café in Xishun, where our office is located, is a shared office during the daytime and cafe at night operated by Mr. Iwama, an architect who has frequently appeared on our company’s blog.
There are many members of the share office who work to make something even if different fields such as architects, photographers, video artists, web designers and engineers, but Iwama started with his idea in order to create a connection next to that member.
At the meeting held so far, the following topics were discussed.

  • Gourmet Information in the West
  • Where I've been traveling, where I want to go.
  • business affairs
  • child-rearing
  • emigration

Why don't we fish together?

Originally, the company had a culture of tea ceremony rather than drinking party. After finishing a big job, management team eats chopsticks and soft cream.

In a long time ago, I read the phrase “if you don’t hit another person’s fresh wind it will rot” in Ryu Murakami’s novel. But especially when there are not so many people coming and going like us, it seems that touching someone outside of your house is really a new wind and has had a positive impact on work as well.
In addition, at the last Fica, I would like to talk with various people among members! You can join us from the Fica of June 18 (Tuesday) 2019.
