Kentaro Kumon
We created the website of photographer Kentaro Kubun.
Kumon’s work, which is created over a long period of time and faces the theme as symbolized by the word “revealing in life” rather than “traveling through,” has been designed to be visible on top pages with film strips flowing along.
In order to convey the work as a whole series rather than one piece at a time, we have made it possible to view the series of works smoothly without page transitions.
On the list page, it became a problem to ensure the listability of works with many points. In "Lifework", by displaying thumbnail expansion for each work series, and in "client work" we realized the list by automatically generating banners per project.
In order to prepare the best CMS (update management system) for your site, Ruby on Rails is used as a full scratch and it has become an easy-to-update “a site” by clients themselves.
