Photographer Sato's Spain travel journal, vol. 1: Barcelona — Streets lined with Gaudí's architecture
I went to Spain last month, in mid-September 2012.
This month, I will send you a new travel account because Icelandic Capes was 8 years ago.
This trip stretched out to Barcelona, Madrid and Frigiliana in southern Spain.
Currently, there is no direct flight from Japan to Spain, so this time I will head for Barcelona via Paris and Charles de Gaulle.

Transit at Charles de Gaulle airport in the early morning.

I got on a plane and finally went to Barcelona.

Arrival in Barcelona.
The weather is very good and the sun is very strong.

As soon as I arrived, I rode a helicopter to see the city in real Google Earth.

A beach in Barcelona.

On Diagonal Street, you’ll see a bullet-shaped building built by Jean Nouvelle’s Tole Agbar in the upper right corner.

FC Barcelona's home stadium, Camp Nou!
This time I go to Guel Park and crawl through the city from a small hill.

Helicopters have a good sense of location, and the view from the hill is well known for its unevenness.

Go to Casa Mira, a Gaudi-built apartment complex.

Gaudí’s work is organically shaped, and I think there are things that you don’t like or dislike.
Buildings that are close to natural objects.

Casa Batello, a private residence of Gaudí architecture.

The interior has a colorful atmosphere like the sea.

Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece, Sagrada Familia.

Anyway, it is a contrast between the outside of the powerful impression and the inside of the light open impression like being in the woods on a leaky day.

This typography is cool.

This expression is interesting.

Of course, it's still under construction today and is expected to be completed around 2024.

Next time, a walk in Barcelona will continue under the blue sky.
